so whats the problem? Free upgrade :D

No idea on the triggers. My grandpa used a stone on mine years ago and made it a little smoother. I also installed a vq trigger with the little set screw to get rid of the over travel.

haha maybe, I sold the trigger and bolt buffer.

My gun has a blued reciever and a SS barrel and a black scope. I think it looks fine

no idea on breaking in. I just put mine together and started shooting and had fun. I do need to open up my chamber a tiny bit to help with feeding issues though. Tighter chamber = better accuracy but comes with reduced feeding reliability. I just need to find a happy medium

Kidd triggers are regarded as some of the best out there, kinda spendy. If you have remote skills with basic hand tools you can do it yourself, however, if there's any doubt in your mind don't attempt. Search on Rimfirecentral.com for DIY trigger job, follow instructions closely. As stated before, there a metric fuck ton of info on that site about any rimfire, especially the 10/22.

The way I cleaned mine back in the day was actually cleaned it real good before I even shot it. As some manufactures coat the barrels with grease, so you want to clean that out first. Then I shoot once then clean again, as it heats the dirt up in the barrel enough to get more out. I do one shot for the first 10 to 15 shots then you should be good to go. But since you can not clean at the range I would recommend using Sweets 7.62 cleaner from Australia. Damn good cleaner and clean the hell out if it before you go shooting. Then I would say only shooting no more than 100 rounds before you clean it again. The rifling can have some rough spots in it and your accuracy wont be real good until you get this cleaned out.

You may be experiencing barrel droop, causing your feed issues.

And never put a rod in the muzzle end of any gun while cleaning. Use a Otis system or a BoreSnake. Or, you can drill a cleaning hole in the back of your receiver, right at the height of your bolt pin or buffer. I have all my 10/22s drilled, it's completely hidden when installed in the stock.

Just ask them, they know you have to run a swab after each shot to break a barrel in. All the ranges around here have signs saying no cleaning however they will allow you to run a bore snake or swab in order to break a barrel in correctly
