Thanks for your concern, this was thrown on instead of the bipod just to see. The bipod in the folded position gives me a better grip than this little thing does kept horizontally.

yes but a bipod does not make an AOW a vertical grip on a handgun does though... that is why people put horizontal grips on pistols because iirc that doesnt make it into an AOW

Yeah I'm aware of that, the Charger came from the factory with the bipod on it and as I said I just wanted to see if this gave me the same feel as a rest for my hand. For the plinking I do anyways the bipod is more practical than a foregrip would be regardless of tossing out $200 for the AOW tax.

I understood what you were saying from your first post. If someone had knocked on my door and asked to see the gun immediately as that pic was posted they would have found it with the bipod on not the horizontal foregrip. Thanks again

This, after you get the can you can move it from gun to gun, (pistol). And IMO, the M&P 15-22s are a tad cheesy, they look cool.

Now that we have two dealers in the local area that deal in suppressors I can see if they will compete for my bussines.

I already own a 10/22 and a buckmark 22. Id just need threaded barrels for them. I think a suppressor would be more fun than the 15-22 anyways

There is plenty of threaded aftermarket barrels for either. Or a good smithy could thread your existing tubes, and provide a thread protector for non suppressor shooting.

I've got a threaded barrel for a 10/22 and I have a adaptor that coverts my Walther P22 to a threaded configuration. But just have never followed through on the paperwork/tax/form end of it. Now, I'm outta work and don't need to spend that kind of money on something like this. I would even like to build my own (licensed of course). A bunch of good proven designs and prints along with good reading in general over on silencerforums.com
