Again, I don’t have any experience with those guys (I can do pretty much what they can) but folks love their stuff. But for the money your looking at I personally would add a bit more cash and go with a Kidd drop in kit. They are AMAZING!!! But it kinda depends on your rifles duty as well.

Just a plinker, nothing more. I might, I’ll look into it. I really didn’t want to go too crazy with it. Hoping to spend less then 100... I don’t really know what they do, but $80 for a trigger job doesn’t seem all that bad, considering the bx-25 is 62.99 at brownells

BX’s can be had for way less. But I understand. A Kidd may not be the best choice for a can shooter. Some drop in hammers are not bad, huge improvements over factory.

Oh really? I know we’ve had this talk before but I can’t remember.

The brimstone trigger is appealing for a few reasons, lighter trigger pull, the auto bolt release, and the over travel fix, also they say a positive reset. All of which I feel I would appreciate, at a decent price point none the less.

Where’s the cheapest place to get the kidd drop in trigger?

Kidd prices are set. As another poster stated, they wouldn’t even allow him to pick up stuff in person. The “trigger kit” they offer is $105.00 (they were running a special buy two for $90.00 each, not certain if this is still available). Again not knocking Brimestone, but for $25.00 more I quite sure where I’d go. Again, I’m mostly a BR type guy. My hunting rifles all have Volquartzen or Power Custom hammers, with some of my own work on them.

I get it, I still need a new stock and barrel too though to “complete” my build lol, I’m just a cheap ass who doesn’t want to shell out the cash :D

Well to be fair they did tell me they are a machine shop with no store front and their insurance wouldn't allow it. Mind you they are 6000 feet from my house and shipping only takes a day

Bought a KIDD trigger job kit, plunger, and auto release latch... so much for not buying any more gun parts this year

For 10/22s there's never ending mods, 1 gun 2 stocks and 2 barrels switched out now and then bench shooting with pistol grip stock and target (bull) barrel, field stock with sporter barrel for hunting. 1 gun is never enough no 2 guns shoot the same even if they were twins. IMG_8711.jpg
