Academy has one in stock, $329.

I really like how the P22 fit my hand, so I'd guess the Ruger is similar.

Ive put around 500 rounds though my Sr22 and ive noticed that it gets really dirty really fast. Ive been shooting winchester and Remington high velocity ammo. The way it is designed, the crap gets in the trigger mechanism and has a slight grindy feeling compared to when it was brand new.

I just bought one, haven't had a chance to put any rounds through it.. I cant wait. Love the way it feels. Very comfortable weight balance etc.

From all the reviews I read, it seems to be the desired weapon in comparison to the Walter. I wanted just a plinker, that the son (and hopefully wife) can learn on. Not as intimidating as my .380 or 9, or .45.

From what I read, the Ruger seems to be less sensitive to the type/brand of ammo than the Walter. I have primarily Remington 525 blocks. So we'll see how it does!

You will like it. Great fun to shoot. Only issue I've had is with "weak" cartridges not throwing the slide back hard enough to pick up next round. Buy some extra clips for it. I have 3 and need more. I empty them just as quickly as I can get them loaded. :)
