Rugged Cover

Anyone have experience with Rugged Cover Premium Hard Trifold

 

I've installed several and sold them for years, what questions did you have?

A quick overview, its an aluminum hard folding cover. Great if you live in a sunny state as aluminum covers tend to be more fade resistant then fiberglass composite or TPO covers. Sits on top of the bed rails, so you don't have to install any brackets to the bed and makes it very easy to put on and remove. Provides 2/3 bed access without removing the unit and you can get full bed access in a couple of moments by just releasing the safety clamps at the cab. The Premium will have a few upgrades from the standard, such as the LED lights, the extra straps, etc. Its a good value for a true hard folding cover.

 

Can you keep the cleats on the rails while the cover is installed? I like the way this cover seems to utalize the bed rails to secure it instead of other covers where you have to adjust the rails altogether.
