Interesting Story, so my soon to be 2016 MGM DCSB apparently showed up to the Port without my Factory Tonneau Cover that I ordered. Dealer cant order a new one, since Toyota has put a stop sale on them. The dealer said they can install a Rugged Liner Hard Folding Rugged Cover for the same cost. Anyone had any experience with it?

I called a local shop that carries both the Rugged and Extang, he suggested Extang. Thought it was a little bit better quality and the customer service is top notch.

    None... sigh
Same happened to me, dealer ordered and had an Extang installed. Only issue I have is I received an older one that did not include the head rail bed cap seals. The installer has ordered them from Extang and I'll have them on next week. So far I like it, opens differently than the factory but I feel it is a more secure (2 handle) system on the Extang.

Not sure how much the dealer is willing to dig around for Tonneau's. Apparently they use this Rugged Liner as their custom go to, so I might end up having to pay extra for any other covers.

Not completely sure why Toyota put a stop sale on them. I know some members here on TW dont like the fact that the factory cover requires modification/cutting of the bed liner to get the rails installed. Have only seen one in person briefly, so I cant say what any issues would be.
