Any update on your rugged liner cover? Had any serious rain yet?

Any updates yet regarding the water tightness? Did you move it at all so it doesn't overhang as much?

No rain yet but I did hose test and worked perfectly. I've been to lazy to move it back, maybe soon.

I have the rugged liner soft tri fold, wish i went hard trifold. However, i dont get any leaks which is nice. I like their latch system, quick and effective, easy off and on when needed. I will probably upgrade to their solid model when this one goes kaput.

Can you take some pics with it slid all the way forward showing how the corners fit over the bed rail. I want to order this one but really don't like how the corners fit the rails.

To be clear, no cutting or anything required for install? That's the main reason I haven't bought the oem, don't like the idea of cutting into the bed.

I see in the first post on the label that the cover has a build date of 9/14/12. So Rugged Liner must have decided the 2nd gen cover fits good enough on the 3rd gen.

I talked to rugged liner today and they said they had to retro fit the seals on the front and back to the flap style to make the older tonneau compatible for 2016. That is why it has the old manufacture date. They are doing the retrofit on an order by order basis.

Do you think there is any sort of adjustment you can make so that the corners do not hang over? Looks from the pic that all four corners hang over the edge slightly. Thanks

I wondered the same thing and went with the solid fold 2.0 because every rugged liner cover I looked at even on other model trucks the corners looked the same. I like how the solid fold is a little smaller than the rugged liner. I do like the rugged liner clamps and all better and the integrated light. It was a hard decision. I hope I made the right one!

Let me know how the Extang 2.0 fits. I'm stuck between the 2.0 and the Rugged Liner too. The reviews are all over the place. Some say leaks, others say not. Too long, too short. Whats the deal people? I have a 2014 Prerunner. What should I get? Thanks

I'm leaning towards an Extang 2.0 imo.

@HenryTRD16 had any serious rain yet for a water tightness report?

Question for this cover. If you had the bed extender, do you think the latching system would have any issues? Wondering with the extender flipped inside the bed, if this latching system might not be able to move as needed.

Hi, so i ordered this same cover for my 2016 quad cab and i do have the rail kit inside the bed, factory installed. I did not see any mention of adding extra 'T Slot adapters' for the rails. I could not get the rear clamps to work so i returned it Did your cover come with the T Slot adapters or were those a separate item? Wish i had known about them because otherwise i thought the cover was a great fit. Where did you get the T slot adapters?
    thanks!
