Mine came with everything I needed for Installation. The metal "T" adapter fit right into the factory rail system for the latches.

No way...i know no such adapter was in my box. Where did you order yours from? and was it the model with the LED lights as well? I thought the one i ordered was going to have the lights but it did not.
    thanks

Mine has the lights in the rear. The dealer installed mine through a 3rd party because Toyota forgot to install the factory one.

Did we ever get an answer to the bed extender interfering with the latching system? Thinking I like the price point on this cover but can't picture the latches working with a bed extender (AMP version).

Are the lights built in and battery operated?

@kenrickv It works with the extender. The latches are just far enough back that you can get your hand in, and the latch to operate.

The lights are built in, and battery operated. They are good enough to cast a little light, but dont expect the whole bed to light up.

Thanks for the info. I presume you don't have any issues with the cover?

The only issue I really see with it is the metal "pole" used in the latching mechanism. They are a standard threaded piece of metal, that works well enough. I found that if you do not have the latch in the right spot, and remotely force the latch to close you will bend that metal. My dad bent one in a "J" shape not really knowing what he was doing. We bent it back, and you could probably find a replacement in any good hardware/parts store. (the pole itself can be separated from the base and latch by unscrewing)
