Much more than just a blinking light like the Yotas. Beeps, blinks, and blocks out the display. Cant use the pipe trick, they only activate when the tire is spinning and the truck knows it. Havnt found any 315mhz ones that work otherwise. Cant adjust the pressure(Black button on the yota) and the dealer wont touch them

If it bugs you bad enough all you should need is this

It's what we used at our dealer.

So that thing emulated a tpms sensor? I have been searching for something like that but havnt been able to find anything. I have the stock ones in the aftermarket wheels but they are constantly throwing pressure faults, hence my hate for the system on the truck

    It trains the sensor

If they throw a fault code it sounds like the tire mounted screwed up the sensor, at most dealerships they should check for a faulty sensor for free.

Ah, ok. I installed them so I know they didnt get mangled. Stock tires did the same shit, but it never did it when the dealer had it. Figures right...

Hmm, not sure what would cause intermittent issues with TPMS, we had an older f150 with intermittent TPMS fault but he just asked us to replace the sensor.

Maybe I should just get the tool... plans to get a tire balance machine so I can do all of my own work. Already scored a free alignment machine this year

4k! that's still showroom new, i'm up to 37000km or about 23k miles already with lots of pin-striping and dirt travel. overall the truck has served me very well so far.

my tpms has been bugging me too, only because i'm running the spare right now after a flat on some hyrdo line access roads that had metal on them, anyway it beeps and keeps on letting me know it's not happy. i reset it then it just comes back over and over.

in 4lo the traction is great, even though the traction control should be off it seems to work a bit when on steep large gravel small rock type inclines, which at 1st i though wtf is this giant shitbox doing, but i'm impressed. otherwise it's big in the trails!

just wait until you see how bad the gas mileage can get when off road..

4low 1st gear is super slow. I love it!

Hopefully all this work crap will settle down soon so I can go adventure off on weekends again.

Took the Ford back into the property to retrieve a deer yesterday. Fit on the yota sized trails pretty good. Ran into two really tight spots. 4low, 1st gear is super slow. Love it

i was watching my fuel consumption in 4lo uphill (actually needing 4lo usage) and it was at 99Litres/100km, so that is about 2mpg! but ya the 4lo is nice in my pig also.

Good Luck. I had a 13 Fx4... many problems. And Ford was horrible, build quality was shit, fit and finish was even worst. EcoBoost was great, however, not nearly as good on fuel as they say. And yes, I drove it good after being broken in corectly. Tranny was a nightmare. owned 4 Tacomas, thought it was time to grow up and get a full size. Big mistake. Back in a Taco Baja...

Its all good, figured it would happen posting it up on a Tacoma/Toyota site. I dont agree with his opnion anyways. Mechanically the build is better than my old Tacoma, my father has owned f150's since I was young and never had any problems.

    It is what it is
