I get a rumble strip noise in the same spot when leaving my neighborhood everyday. no, it's not the road. is this just the traction control/abs self-test? this is my second taco and both made the same noise. i am always coasting down a hill at about 30 mph when it happens. auto trans.

My guess or assumption since I gave owned a 07 and a 17... I get the same thing on a particular road. Its either the tires or the alignment.

interesting that it only does it when leaving my neighborhood. i walked to that part of the road and it's smooth. none of my other cars make noise on that part. feels like it has something to do with traction control or ABS system .

How far from where you start the truck is this section of road?

    Wheels pointed straight?

it's about 1/8 of mile. i come down my driveway (15 meters) make a left turn on a road, drive 100 meters. take a right at a stop sign, and another 100 meters is when the rumble strip noise happens.

Have you taken it to the dealer, you are allowed 1 free alignment under the 36 month warranty.

made a service appointment for Thursday. have a feeling it's low on ATF fluid. asked them to do an alignment as well. could just be a quirk with the partial torque converter lock-up.
