I went out with a girl all through High School and our relationship deteriorated when she went away to University.We drifted as well and it ended really messy with lots of casual encounters after meeting at the bar and all that.Every time I saw her I got nervous,jealous and kind of freaked out.When she started seriously dating another guy that I knew really well I had to constantly remind myself why she was the "ex".It's easy to forget all the reasons you aren't together anymore when you see her after a long time but try.If you really care about her and those good memories,maybe the thing to do is just cherish them and wish her well.
