    Front Bumper Prep

Since I'm planning on having my front bumper on within the week or so, I figured I'd take advantage of the nice weather and paint my core support.

After I cleaned the whole area, I masked the front end. Ended up doing one coat of self-etching primer and three coats of matte black.

Addicted Off Road tube bumper. It's set up for the 1" BL.

The Trail Gear rear bumper that I have needs to be raised about an inch or more. I can get close with new mounting holes, I think, and I'm likely going to weld a couple spots top and bottom of the mounting plate anyway.

I'm really stoked about my truck right now.

Within the next week, I could have my sliders and front bumper on. And be sealing up my passenger tub.

    Fucking. Finally.

I need to get my frame reinforced and relocate the rear shocks. And I have an idea for a spare tire mount and bed rack that I want to have fabricated ASAP.

The crawl box will likely be the last major mod for this iteration of the truck. It's only going to add capability when the truck does outstanding as it is, so I'm in no rush.

Anyway. Lots of shit left to do, for sure. But like I said, I'm stoked with my truck right now. I fucking love it!

So it's not a perfect match though? At 65 what mph are you actually doing? I can't math right now. Also stoked for the bumper!

According to the GPS on my Garmin app, I was going 60ish mph at 65 mph indicated. When I was actually going 65 according to the GPS, it was around 70 mph indicated.
