X2 on the ions. Great fogs. Have them on Frank. Don't expect them to light up the world but they are a great true fog.

Also, while we're on the subject, If I were to get projectors I would get the lowest kelvin temperature possible.

I'm not so sure that the benefits of the cutoff would outweigh the cooler color temperature of the HIDs for driving in the snow.

Lower color temp is 'warmer', right?
Yeah, I think the higher temp, 'blue' lights would beat up on my eyes in a hurry.

Yeah 3800k or 3300k would be ideal at 35w I think. Lower if you go 55w

Another item that has moved up the To Do List:

I need to do the tack weld mod.

There's definitely some dead space in the steering while changing directions, and it became much more noticeable with the 315s. The ball joints and TREs are fine, so I'm almost positive that the TWM will address the issue. Initially, I was just gonna live with it, but in 4H on rough dirt it was not nearly as responsive as I need it to be.

Oh, and maybe that's the final straw for pulling the trigger on a nice MIG setup...

I dont know the first thing about welding but I'm wanting to buy one. I have a good friend that is a fabricator for someone else and he said if I buy the welder, he'll weld whatever for free!

The TWM has been in the back of my mind for a while now.

    Also...

I'm seriously considering ditching the stock antenna, starting with the cable. I fucked it up anyway cleaning up welds inside the cab, and I quite literally NEVER listen to the radio. Commercials and contemporary pop music both make me want to break shit.

Part of the reasoning is that I'm now almost certain that the dribble of water I got in the cab on the passenger side is from water that traveled down past the antenna base seal and along the cable and past my attempted seal at the cab wall. It sounds impossible, but that's what I observed last night and will verify today. So at the very least the cable is gonna get shitcanned.

I have driven home with nothing but my corner light before. The Flats in the valley get super windy. Usually there isn't enough snow to cover the entire road but jump from patch of yellow to the next. Fun stuff!

Welcome to the ST MAXX fan club!

Now you have me curious of what small leaks I may have from wires going through the firewall.

I had water inside that I thought was my tub but actually came from my antenna grommet as well. But mine was aftermarket.

*EDIT* Also I wonder how many stock guys get/have water in their cab and don't know it/notice it but we do since we are hyper focused on the area.

    It was crazy, Ryan!

Visibility was really the only issue. The Maxxs and the truck in general did great despite the awful conditions.
That's a really good point, Mike. The more I look at the photo I took from last night, the more it looks like I was getting water ingress from the grommet, NOT the tub.

BTW, did you run into any issues with your IFS skid mating to the crossmember for the Addicted bumper? It's looking like I'm going to have to draw up an extension plate and have someone plasma cut it and weld it to the front of my RAT skid. I'm shy of the crossmember by like 3/4". I'm also trying to come up with a way to get some captive nuts on the crossmember, but it may come down to welding some studs to it, having thru holes on the skid extension, and then running nuts down over the skid on the studs.

    Yup and yup.

All my nuts are welded to the back of the crossmember we made:

And this is what my extension looks like with my crossmember. Your results may vary since you have the actual Addicted crossmember. Did exactly what you are thinking about doing lol

It takes some work to get the skid on, but it's kind of nice too. I use a jack to lift it in place and then I use my legs to leg press the skid so that lip of the original skid gets put behind the crossmember.
