Oh yeah no problem! Especially now the new Delta Joint Icon UCA and a fresh rebuild on the Front Icon's.

:anonymous: I love my hyper blinkers for some reason. :crapstorm: But I think it's because my truck is so loud that it grabs my attention when they hyper blink and I know they are on. Call me :der: I guess.

Or really you got some Delta Joints huh? Curious to see how they perform.

I've heard a little bit about those. They're supposed to be a better option over uniballs, right? It would be cool to see those in person!

I really didn't mind it at all, but I saw that relay for like, 9 bucks, and I threw down on it.

Been great so far! going wheeling next week. Icon put 1000's of test miles on the joints without any grease in them with no issues. If you have Icon arms I would spring for the Delta's when you replace your uniballs.

Interesting. Let me know how you like them.

I'm gonna run my AP uniball UCAs until they need the uniballs changed and then look into either the next gen SPCs or the Icons. I'm sure Icon is proud of theirs, so maybe I should start saving now...

I thought they were producing various sizes so that you could put a Delta Joint in any uniball based UCA?

There won't be a Delta Joint for the 1st gen's, IMO just stick with what you have and pop in new bearings as needed.

Around SEMA they will have the other common sizes out for purchase. Now it's just the uni ball sizes that Icon uses.

Blame Toyota for the spindle design that puts the UBJ in the spindle.

I didn't even think of that :anonymous:

My life sucked trying to get those bastards out of the spindles.

I thought the delta joint was a direct replacement for uniball joints. With common sizes so you could put them in any a arm..

    Skids Achieved!

Thanks again to @TMFF for cutting and welding the IFS skid extension. Everything lined up perfectly!

I'm going to use rivet nuts in the front bumper crossmember for the IFS skid mounting bolts. They're being held with stop nuts right now, but it was a bitch to get to those damn things. Rivet nuts will make that a cool breeze.

At this point, I believe the truck is ready to wheel with some buddies (and their gear). I still need to gather the rest of my recovery stuff and wire up the winch contactor, but that will come soon. The winch itself will sit on the shelf until then.

Rear Diff Breather Mod (finally) Achieved!

Glad to have this one done. There are quite a few creek crossings on a lot of the trails here in Colorado, and this is cheap and easy piece of mind.

I relocated to the standard spot in the fuel door compartment, but eventually, I'd like to relocate all of the breathers to a common location on the cowl just under the hood.

    Brace for shitty phone pics...
