Because nobody likes it when a lower ball joint departs the vehicle...

    So many good lines...

On a completely different subject, I got myself some moly-fortified lithium grease for these squeaky goddam UCA bushings. I'm gonna just loosen the thru bolt and pump some in for now, but I want to pull em eventually and clean out all of the super lube.

Crossing my fingers it works and it lasts at least an oil change!

I paint mine and can still see them faintly. Wet a rag and wipe it and it's like new again

    I hope so too.

I tried loosening the thru bolt and just hitting the zerks, but it not one of them would take grease. It just loaded up outside the zerk. Gonna have to pull the damn things before we leave today.

Definitely down near Leadville and Fairplay. Still deciding which trail to hit. I'm not looking for anything technical (it's just gonna be my truck), just something easy-moderate that gets us to a secluded camp site.

So far these are the front runners:

    Mosquito Pass
    Halfmoon Creek
    Birdseye Gulch
    Breakneck Pass
    Crystal Lake

    Ray!

I'll weigh that when I get home. By total weight you mean with rope and hook, right? Or do you want the contactor and wiring as well?

damn, that thing is a little fat. Warn was only 50ish pounds, less synthetic line and hook.

Ray, it looks like their website is pretty close. I got 65lb for the winch without the hook or the contactor and wire. I'd say around 75lb total should be pretty realistic.
