    Thanks, man! You're a lifesaver.

You just took like an inch or so all the way around on the bedsides, didn't you?

The plastic fenders right? I cut all the plastic out from the under lip and trimmed the side corners at the ends so the tire didnt rub anything.

Here's what I think I have left for the tubbing adventure:

    Front:
    - Weld in firewall sheet metal, clean up welds, seal, and apply paint and bedliner.
    - Weld in metal to close out cab mount on frame and allow tires to rub past it if they make contact.
    - Trim kick panels and re-mount them.
    - Trim outer metal fenders. (This is where I'd like to see what you and Mike did on your trucks)
    - Devise a new mount point for outer metal fenders near cab mount since the old one is gone.
    - Trim or remove plastic fender liner (not the engine skirts).
    - Trim and mount front flares, Rob-style! (Need some close ups, if you have some!)
    - Relocate washer reservoir.
    - Cut and install new engine skirts.

    Rear:
    - Trim bedside metal. (1" beyond stock opening all the way around?)
    - Trim and mount bedside flares, Rob-style!
    - Re-mount rear mud flaps.

It's gonna be a few days before I can get the firewall metal welded up, so I'm trying to wrap up some of the other million or so little things that crop up when you tub one of these!

Alright friend I got those pics for ya.
    image.jpg
Front fenders I started by gutting the under flat part to the edge. I used a cutoff wheel on a dremmel for better prescision.
    image.jpg
After you have the underside how you want it
I did the mounting hardware and drilled the holes for the allen key. Once all the bolts are in the flare I went ahead and mounted them up. Then it was really an eyeball game. The front flare you can do a wheel turn test to see how much to cut out of the rear of the flare see above pic.
    image.jpg
Also for mounting the lower end of the fender I drilled and tapped a new hole right at the edge of the flare and used the original bolt to mount it. There were little "spacers" under the flare that I reused as well so the fender lip lined up with the rocker panel.
    image.jpg
And the low end of the plastic flare hangs there with everything bolted up.
    image.jpg
Rear fenders are the same deal, gut the underside. Drill holes and secure mounting bolts. Mount them up and with the rears you have to cut your own eyeballed lines from the front and rear. I tried my best to measure and cut equal amounts out of each.
In the end I did a light sanding on the edges and went over them with a razorblade to clean them up and make the lines look neat.
    image.jpg
Let me know If I left anything out that you need!

Haha! Let me see how these turn out first! I got some rubber sheeting to replace the old stuff, but I kept that to use for a template.
Rob, you are the fooking man! That's gonna help a ton! Let me look this over when I get home tonight, and I'll hit you back with any follow up questions. Thanks again!

Let me find the number and I'll send it your way! I don't recall it being too expensive.

I'm gonna rivet most of it down, but I want to screw it down around the driver side at the top so that I can pull it down to access the oil filter.

Jason, where are you at in Westminster? If you need any help with the rig I'd be glad to swing by some time (I work off 92nd & 36). Tubbing is looking good, you're in the home stretch

Thanks, Austin! I might have to take you up on that! Are you doing a build thread on here?

I live and work just north of Standley Lake, over by Simms. So basically right in the corner of 100th and Simms. I think there are some other TW folks nearby too.

The tubbing has been a tough job, but I'm so close to being done!

    Firewall Tubbing for 35s

Well, I made the first real progress on the truck yesterday in at least three weeks. Got the outer front fenders trimmed up, and applied a BFH to the front of the inner fenders under the battery and the air box. I also pulled the washer reservoir knowing that is hit it at full stuff. Time to plagiarize @Robmonster117's reservoir idea!

Today, I'm gonna replace a body mount bolt that I over torqued, throw the grille and lights on, and take it for a quick drive around the block. If everything looks good, the next stop is my buddy's to finally get the welding done!

Here are some cool full stuff pics after I cut the front fenders!

Well, it moves under its own power! Took it around the block, and it steers like a champ! Just had to remember to keep my left foot outta the gaping hole in the firewall...

Gonna put the grille, lights, and bumpers back on and make sure everything still works before I hit the road to weld up the firewall. Might have to hack up the front bumper, but fuck it, it's going away in a few weeks anyway and getting replaced with one of these!

As I was putting the front end back together, I noticed that a lot of the stupid little plastic things that hold the grille and the lights together have broken. I'd like to get one of @HomerTaco's satoshis at some point, and I have a new set of headlights and marker lights on the way. After all of this major stuff is done, I'll address all of this minor crap and get it dialed in.
