LightRoom for sure. Its nice simple yet very powerful program, plus a nice way to keep things organized. And it uploads direct to..whatever you want. Flickr for me. So no extra photo files everywhere.

    hmm..i think i bought LR5 a few years back for..idk..70ish? bucks?

I made this terrible tutorial for it. had someone ask what i do to a photo. This i just how i do basic editing.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WpeYJhAzKfY

Lots more stuff to it photo by photo but this is a good general way to do things.

Nice! I'll check it out when I get home tonight.

And thanks again for the input!

    you bet.

I think Lightroom is the best all around editor.

I use Photoshop too..but i think of it like..LR as the doctor. Photoshop as the surgeon. ha

    Haha! Good point!

Do you know if the D60 adds any metadata to the image files? Like, specifically, the ISO/aperture/shutter settings? That would be a sweet feature for learning.

Oh yea. Almost all DSLRs do. If you shoot in RAW mode it will retain all of that. You can view it in LR actually.

Definitely recommend Lightroom as well. I bought it a few years ago like Monty.. I think they've moved to a subscription-based situation now for like $10 a month or something.

RAW image format allows a ton of flexibility for editing, loads more info and a lot more editing can be done... I'd probably try shooting in that mode if you want, you'll pretty much need to edit every photo, since the RAW files don't have much contrast or in-camera filters applied to it like a JPEG file.

What camera did you end up picking up?

@Blackdawg does the feature you use in you video have a name when you hold down the option key. Unfortunately I don't have a dslr and am stuck using my phone which does shoot raw. I use the LR app to edit and I'm wondering if the app has this option.

Great video by the way!

hmmm...I will look tonight. Im at work now and don't have the app infront of me.

Its a mask view though i think so that it shows any blown out areas of color(too dark or too bright). I played with the mobile app when it came out but didn't buy it. So not sure if it can or not.

Thanks though! haha I sound so dull in it and not excited at all haha probably because i was pissed with how long it too me to get my microphone setup to work haha

I ended up with @NYCO's old Canon D60.

I've been playing with it every night since I bought it trying to get a feel for the interface and menus. I'm doing some reading up as well. Can't wait to get out and actually use it!

    It's not installed yet...

    :anonymous:

My plan is to put the locker switches in my clock location, which means changing the e-locker switch and rewiring it there. I'm pretty confident that it'll work.

    Maybe.

That's similar to mine. Switching all the switches to OTRATTW switches in the clutch start cancel location.

    Ideally like this:

But with 3 OTRATTW switches, Front locker, Rear locker, and compressor.

Good to know. Did you rewire the stock switch I guess?

no..i have never owned an Elocker. Don't plan too either. Not a fan of that diff from all the explosions i've seen of it haha not to make you worry..

But its just simple wiring for it. Easy to change the switch to whatever you want.

That's what I thought since you had the co2 setup on frank. And the elocker rear is only temporary till I go LT and tundy axle.

:burnrubber: You know, like 3 years from now.
