    Thanks, fellas!

All four of us are beyond stoked about this place! The garage won’t get much love in the near term, because we have some other crap to do in the house first (yay for scraping popcorn ceilings and painting!)

Eventually, it’s gonna be my power rack, rower, and home gym on one side of the garage and a space for parking for the truck and wrenching on the other. The little built out room off of the back in the last picture is gonna get insulated, wired, and sheetrocked for an office/man-cave/guitar jamming space. Should be pretty dope when it’s all dialed in!

Do you remember (can you look) to see what thickness of rubber sheet you got?

Since it's been 2.5 years, would you have gone thicker, thinner or added more coverage?

I’m pretty sure I used this 3/32 neoprene rubber from McMaster-Carr. For the fender liners it works great because they aren’t exposed to the sun, but I also used them to close out the bottoms of my trimmed flares and they’re starting to crack from UV exposure. YMMV.

@betterbuckleup , I would go this route, honestly. I went the DIY route because I’m running a 1” body lift, so I had to account for the liners needing to be 1” taller. That said, I did cut mine to give a bit better coverage toward the front and back as well, which has been really nice.

I can’t wait until I can garage my truck again.

Had a pretty good afternoon finally getting to work on the shop to today!

I haven’t been able to do anything up til now other than throw shit in there during the move, so I’m pretty stoked to get the process started. Hopefully tomorrow I’ll have my squat rack and weights set up on the left side and at least be able to park the truck on the right side.

    :fingerscrossed:

It does! I’m just beyond stoked that I finally have a space like this to park, work out, wrench, play music, hang out, all of it. I have BIG plans!

@jubei wouldn't do it, he doesn't want fryer oil all over his workout bench since it makes it slippery :boink:
Soon I'll have a teardrop in the garage too so I can wrench, cook, drink beer, and sleep in there

No plans for a fryer... yet.

Definitely later this spring if we can catch some good weather! I’ll be sure to stock up on summer shandy for ya!
