Yep. 315/75R16 and F5s on 3.5BS. It might have been the 1st Gen thread, but I thought you had said that 2.25 total BS was just about right, which is where I got the 1.25 spacer idea. Is that correct?

I have no problems running spacers, btw. I've had them on my CJ5 for years.

Yea just go ahead and get spacers. No way in hell 3.5" will work for 35s.

Anything less then 3" is good. So a .75" is probably fine if you don't want the tires out so far.

    Yea I had 2.25". Tires poked out..a lot. But I didn't mind.

Check your local laws on mud flaps and fenders. That could make you want to change your mind on this whole thing..

FWIW to follow up to Monte, my tires stick out over an inch and I've never been bothered by local law enforcement about it. That said I still do have my rear mudflaps...

    Just more info

Haha! Perfect. Just ordered a set of 1.0" spacers last night, in fact.

    Hey, @cynicalrider and @TimF:

Would you guys recommend waiting on my spacers for checking the rubbing, or going without?

Well judging by my experience with my wheels that have 4.5" bs and a 1.25" spacer and still rub the frame, you will need a spacer no matter what like @Blackdawg said. Best part about spacers is that they are easily resellable on here.

Definitely. My post was probably a little vague. I have some 1.0" spacers on their way, after getting Monte's advice the other day. I was just wondering if I should wait until they get here and install them when I do the tubbing. Or if going ahead without them might be more of a worst case and get me a little more space once they're installed AFTER tubbing. Or honestly, if it even matters . I tend to overthink things, which is why I appreciate you guys and your input. Thanks!

Tub how you will run it IMO. If you have the tires mounted on the wheels you will use, tub based on the wheels and tires and spacers you will need. Worse comes to worse you can try with spacer on and off and see if it works both ways.

Finally an entire weekend to get some things done on the truck! Looking to at least get the other UCA on and my coilovers in today. Be nice to get started on the leaf springs as well. I have a ton of housework and yardwork that needs done too, but I've got to get some momentum going on the truck.

    Stay tuned!

    Driver side front is done!

I'm guessing I'll get around +2", but I'll be measuring so I'll know exactly what this gets me.

    Looking good sexy under there

Say friend for the tundra rotors did you need extended wheel studs? Those look longer than stock but I may just be crazy

Also what spring rate do those coils have?
