Runnin' 4 Tacos Grille Lights

I clicked on the link and lordy, it's $75 for the 3 lights? Why is it so expensive?

I got these from Amazon for $36:

Before putting a “notch” in your fuse box for your power wire hook up, consider going to the Runnin 4 Tacos website and reviewing their second video. You will another option of lifting a tab on the side and running your “red power wire”

 

Not in this location. For the top row you have to file. Mine flipped right in.

my phone sucks at taking photos of lights apparently. But this is what it looks like having the (4) white grille lights on...

After a week of rain here in the midwest, I noticed that one of my lights had condensation/moisture build-up inside. I contacted running4tacos, and am waiting to hear back on what they recommend. Hoping they just send me a replacement one, so I dont have to try and figure out how to re-seal this thing back up.

Still love these things. The quality and ease of installation is amazing. I cannot recommend these things enough to anyone looking to add some accent lights to their front end...

 

I’m on my second set. First set filled up with water, they sent another set immediately, no questions asked. Second set is now full of water. Not sure I’m going to bother asking for another set, but my grille is now trimmed for the 3 light setup so I’m kinda bummed because I like the look. I think you are the only other person I’ve seen comment on moisture infiltration.

 

Wow. A little upsetting to read this. I like them so much, that I would ask for another new set, and them maybe do my own sealing (black plastidip - not the spray) so that they last longer...

Is it obvious on where they are leaking from?

 

The first set seemed like they were sealed up well. The seam between the lens and back plate looks like it could be the only place a leak could happen. Maybe a thin bead of clear sealant there would do the trick before installing.

 

depending on what running4tacos says about the breached one, I will probably remove all of my lights this weekend and seal them up, somehow...
