Happy Friday everyone, I've searched a few threads but thought I would ask an updated question on how these lights are handling after some wear and tear. They just restocked, mind you pricier, thank you Covid 19 but I'm about to just pull the trigger.

Also, I have a 2017 SR5 and was wondering which configuration I would need to pick them up in power option wise. Add-a-fuse or T-Tap?

    Thanks!

I built my own set of lights but same principle: I add-a-fused through the firewall and into the USB fuse

I tapped into the side marker light on the driver side, so it wouldn’t interfere with any leds since they can be finicky if you start tapping into their circuit. A simple posi-tap did the trick for me. Purple wire is positive; white with black strip is negative.

You can find basically the same lights on Amazon for 1/3 of the price

I don't know the difference between Add-A-Fuse and T-Tap. Also, I know Amazon has cheaper alternatives but I figured if it was on the front of a vehicle, getting hit by debri/rain, that I would just try to find the toughest one. You get what you pay for kind of thing.

Hit multi-quote under all of the posts you want to quote, then under the box you type your response in; you will see a button saying insert quotes.

Go to Amazon and type in “Tacoma grill lights” and a ton of options will show up
