So I'm turning my truck bed into a mini-RV and want to run power for a 3500w inverter, and wondering advice on the best route to do this.

Was thinking I'd get a yellow top and solenoid isolator to keep it charged off the alternator. Would the best bet be to run cable from the alternator to a 2nd battery mounted in the bed, or is there room under the hood for a 2nd battery in which case I could just run cable to my inverter in the bed?

Also, wondering if there's any way to get a better usage out of the 110v bed outlet, cause it seems kinda use for my needs currently. I'm going to be spending a lot of time with the truck off while running multiple device in the bed, and need to figure out a good solution. Any advice is appreciated! Thanks
