Ok so I have a 2010 Tacoma i4 base. I need to replace all my shocks and so Im searching online for replacements but I want to go with aftermarket. I keep finding alot of shocks for 6 lug for my truck but Im 5 lug 2 wd. My question is can I buy front shocks for my truck for 2 wd, and for a 6 lug and install them on my truck which is 5 lug. Do they bolt up the same way or have a different set up on the bolts for top and bottom.

the 6 lug and 5 lug suspensions are different and the shocks are not interchangeable. You would need to purchase shocks that are made for a 5 lug. Unfortunately there are not as much options for aftermarket 5 lug shocks as there are 6 lug. The only after market that comes to mind is bilstein 4600 series.
