What about just the single ARB air compressor? I’ve seen them mounted in the bedside pocket. Is it more the difference between a cheap Amazon $100 compressor and a $400 one? I have the TRD Sport and considered it in case I ever do decide to go with the rear locker it can act as a dual purpose.

Used expanding Foam on a dry rotted garden tractor tire before. Apply foam and hit with some air just before it sets up fully but super tacky

And if you are highway during it home, it will be completely junk from being out of balance by the time you get home.

We all have to balance what we can afford or want to do "now" vs. what we would like to do. Will a single ARB fill a tire and be useful? Sure. Would I do it? Nope. I'd personally wait for a dual going ARB due to brackets, plumbing, etc.

But if I needed something quick and wanted to go cheap I'd probably go for a portable compressor. Maybe a Smittybilt or the V-Air? I've not used either, but have read good things about both, depending on the model. Do a search here, paying attention to recent developments and learn what "duty cycle" is.

It will take a bit of time, but you'll gather a consensus that addresses your needs. Good luck and have fun!
