Hey guys I need a little help here. I purchased running boards from Toyota today but it didn’t come with instructions. I searched the instructions up but it’s not very specific on the mounts. So I have 2 mounts bigger than the other 4 mounts & I’m trying to figure out where each bolts on to, I’ll post a pic for better understanding

I suspect the larger brackets will go towards the front of the truck. But my memory could be failing me. Have you tried to match up the brackets with the holes yet? I’d guess you’ll get your answer that way. Good luck.

Yes. The kit has two (2) larger front brackets and four (4) smaller mid/rear brackets.

These are nice and thick aluminum boards and should never rust out. Good stuff.

I've bought many OEM Toyota accessories and none ever came with instructions.
While some were obvious, I did find the instructions with an on-line search of even a member here had previously posted them. I was advised that if you bought the accessory from a Toyota dealer you could request they print you a set.

I installed these on a 2018 access cab and a 2020 double cab - the same part will fit both trucks.

You don’t see too msny of these cast aluminum boards in the wild as the predator tube steps are all the rage.

The bigger brackets go towards the very front of the cab. If your truck is new, there should be some black plastic flathead bolts covering the threads for the sidestep bolts.

Anyone know if these will fit on a 2013 Access cab? Everything I see on these just says 2016-2017, but did they change the mounting points between 2.5 gen and 3rd gen?
