Nice! Would you be willing to take a few more pics from further away? I'd like to see the whole truck with these boards. Thanks!

I'm not 100% sure but I don't think so. I found this description online at TRDparts4U "Constructed of molded TPO recyclable plastic with a heavy-wear step pad"....So I'm guessing they're plastic??

These are aluminum. The box they came in weighed 72 lbs. They are solid.

Sorry I didn't reply promptly. Yes as you discovered they do fit the 2016 TRD DC. I had a friend with a 2013 Long bed that got someone else's running boards because he like them going all the way back to the rear wheels so he could step up and reach in the bed. As for the short bed they fit just perfectly and for the long bed they serve the function that they were intended for, which is all four doors.

l tacoman your truck looks great i just bought the 2017 you say those running boards fit. did they bolt right up to the truck with the factory holes? one guy says he thinks you can only use 1 bolt hole out of 2 in the front mount.. is that true or is it just toyota saying that so you have to buy the $650 ones

    Toyota running boards/Solid Fold 2.0/custom stickers/Anti-Dark LED light under hood/Derped grill/Scoop, etc.
Another thing with these OEM boards that I personally like is the ability to stand on them and wash the roof of the truck without falling off of a slippery, wet round chrome tube..!!
These are the Cats Ass, for non off roaders....they protect the paint real well, and to some extent, the doors from other doors..!!

I know this is an old thread but just wanted to share ... maybe add some help or tips since this thread is what helped me --- I got the 2G PT212-35055 Toyota OEM side step running boards and installed today on my 2017 OR DC SB. Was a bit sketchy at moments when it appeared that only one front bolt hole was lining up but I just had to angle the board correctly. I like that the design kinda matches the top of the bed trim. Made in Canada of aluminum and plastic.

**TIP: first thread in the two rear inner bolts and hang the board on those, hold up far end with knee. Then thread the middle outer bolt a bit. Then it's on and not gonna fall. Proceed with the rest of the bolts and stagger the tightening process.

First bolts for hanging the board:

Both front bolts DO line up:
