running board suggestions

Good morning All,

I am awaiting delivery from carmax for a 2023 White TRD off road double cab with a 6 foot bed. This is my first Tacoma. I am looking for running board suggestions.

 

Do you want running boards specifically for help getting into and out of the vehicle, or are you looking for sliders that protect your vehicle from rocks/trees/rogue shopping carts?

 

I wasn't planning on rock crawling with it. I am looking for running boards. unless there isnt much difference in price for the sliders.

 

If you don't need sliders, yeah, go with running boards! Some folks just don't really know the difference and use "sliders" and "running boards" interchangeably. I got sliders that double as steps, but would not suggest them for your use case.
