I have the 2017 4 door limited, and some clown just drove straight into me while I was stopped in a turning lane. I was already considering a dash cam, but this solidifies it.

I'm looking at the setups that come with a front camera and a rear camera, so wires need to be run from the windshield and then either up or down to the rear window. Looking at my headliner, there's no trim around the edges, so it seems more likely that I should run the cable through the kick panels and door sills.

Can anyone point me to a thread that demonstrates the correct way to tear my interior apart so that I don't break stuff? I'm sure this has already been covered but I'm unable to locate any threads on it.

I probably should have taken pictures of the process as I just did this on my Taco. It’s really easy and I did it without even looking at a YouTube video! The A pillar molding is the only one that requires a tool (10mm socket) and the rest of the sill moldings just pop off. There is wiring running through the sills and the clips holding it in place have enough space to run the camera cable through. The whole job start to finish took maybe a half hour.

Awesome, that's all I needed to know!

Oh, by the way, where did you end up routing the wire once you got to the back?
