It just started happening withing 2 weeks especially on start ups. It looks like when it's too cold out and you start your truck and you have the white smoke coming out of your exhaust,it smells like gas and not burnt oil. When truck warms up its gone when idle or normal acceleration but sometimes I look on the side view mirror when accelerating entering highways and see that little bit of white smoke coming out. I'm doing an oil change today because I'm due, probably checking my plugs too, what should I be looking at? Bought the truck used with 32k miles. It now has 52k.

Possible factors: I often drive take it for a short drive to the gym in the morning about .5 miles 5 min drive with lights and switching parking spots with my wife so truck does turn on and off without warning up.

Thanks in advance for any help.

It is a v6 and converted from regular to synthetic oil 10k miles ago. Switched to 89-plus octane because it seems to rid of the engine ping, about 2 months ago. Also went from 265-65 to 265-70 tires and butt dyno tells me it feels a little struggle when accelerating.

Weathertech floor liners moded to hold OEM floor mats, weathertech vent visors, Toyota bed mat, LEER 100XL cap, hood gasket mod to stop whistling.
I experienced an occasional puff like that in both my 2006 and my 2013. I've heard of others experiencing the same, consider it to be normal.

Normal. Your truck will always run rich when in open loop. (Not operating temperature). Once in closed loop it should no longer be running rich. (Normal operating temperature). If it does then you have a problem, but generally it will throw a MIL.
