Who here goes of roaming in mountains? Does your truck ever seem hotter than the temp gauge says? My hood seemed surprisingly hot compared to my temp gauge. 6 spd v6 trd

Our trucks are really good at staying at correct running temp. when pulling the passes I rarely come out of 6th gear and have only had an issue once and it was 104 degrees outside. I have an edge monitor and normal driving temp is 186 and rarely gets to 190 when I'm driving HARD. The one time It got a little hot I only reached 195 that was because it was really hot out and was pulling a long grade at only 2000rpm in 6th. As soon as I grabbed 5th and brought the rpms up to 2600 it cooled down. If your still worried get a monitor (edge, scangauge) they are nice to have!
