    Hey folks,

We have a great locally owned carwash here and I've run the truck through it from time to time with no issues. Now I've got a topper and was wondering if anyone, who has a topper, uses their local carwash? If so, any issues or concerns?

No issues, but if you have a rack, be careful that the brushes don't get caught up in the metal works. Saw a thule basket get ripped off the top of a FJ a few weeks ago, wasn't pretty after.

Yeah...good point. I am planning on taking the rack and ears off. I've had the topper about 4 months now so it should okay to wash paint wise.

Washed my truck with shell with no rack many times in all types of automated washes. No issues. I can see how a rack could cause problems in one with brushes.
