    Some of the things...
Hey guys, Do any of you have recommendations on where to run wiring for accessories in your bed? I have a heavy gauge wiring harness (3 14g, 2 12g, and a couple 16g wires) that will be running from my center console to roughly where the passenger rear cubby is and was looking for some examples. Wheres a good place to make a cab penetration? I was considering down through the shifter hole and then along the chassis.

    Anyone?

    TIA

Access cab with child seat in the back, yellow wire mod, diff breather relocated to tail light, engine block heater, Leer topper with Yakima tracks and rack, Yakima rack on cab, Ride Rite air bags with Daystar cradles, CBI hidden front hitch, wired for winch front and rear Warn quick connect, Warn x8000i on external carrier, sway bar delete, trailer plug relocated to under bumper, Pelfreybilt IFS and Mid skids, BAMF Tcase skid, ECGS front diff bushing, ARB CKMA12 compressor, 255/85/16 Backcountry MT 3 load E tires on stock steel rims, Toyo M55 tires (same size) on another set of stock steelies, Up2NoGood heated mirror kit, Husky X-act Contour front floor liners, Northstar AGM 24F battery under the hood, Northstar 27F in the cab, Redarc 25 amp DC to DC charger, Pelfreybilt bolt on sliders with kickout and top plates, TRD Pro headlights, Depo smoked tail lights, Energy suspension body mount bushing kit, OME Dakar leaf packs with AAL, OME rear shocks, OME 90021 front shocks with 885 coils, SPC LR UCAs, Up2NoGood 2wd low range mod, 4 Wheel Campers Grandby slide in camper, 4xinnovations high clearance rear bumper, Uniclutch 800 lb/ft clutch
You're on the right track. Go through an existing hole. Go to the frame and down the frame. I would cross the exhaust on top of a crossmember downstream of the cats.

There are openings under the driver seat and front passenger seat i think. Not sure if big enough to fit all wires in one opening though. Then as pigpen said tie up along the frame. Use wire loom to protect it from the elements

Skip the shifter hole because you'll be exposing your wires to heat from the trans and/or exhaust. There is a rubber grommet on either side of the cab under the driver/passenger seat, near the rocker panels. If you go under the truck, they'll be easy to see right near the mounting bolts for the seat tracks. That'd be your best bet. Your only issue would be to seal the hole against water penetration, but it's not uncommon and there are a lot of examples of how to do that, or you can get creative.

Excellent, Thanks for the suggestions guys. I've got the wires in tech braid and will plan to run down the frame and back up into the bed at the rear. Hopefully if I'm not lazy I'll take some pics and ad to my build in case others ask.
