rust and stickers

Hello all when i bought my Tacoma it had running boards on it which I didn’t like so i took them off. My question is should i fill or block the pre tapped holes in the body where the bolts for the running boards go in to? I live in New England and im worried that sand and salt will get in there and rust. Also anyone know if they make black bed stickers that have TRD sport 4x4 with “Toyota racing development” on it as well?

I’d plug the holes, can get plugs at lowes or Home Depot. You could also just run the proper size bolt in there with some anti seize on the threads, that’s what I’d do.

I'm in NH. I would run the bolts back in with some sealant on them. See above for stickers.

 

If you purchase a Tacoma without running boards they have plugs in them. i.e. from the factory.
