I know I'm in the wrong forum, but figured my 06 4Runner is basically the same. Posted here because I was hoping to get eyes on it to help guide me.

Here's a couple pics of my decently built 06 4runner. Just picked up a URD supercharger this weekend when I was able to push my wrench through a couple areas in the frame. Lucky for me, Toyota does not cover our 4runner frames, so either cut and plate or find a replacement.

Fateful search on Facebook marketplace found the same year v6 frame with slight radiator damage so I said f it and bought it for 200.

Plan is to get it sand blasted, bmc, tundra rack upgrade, amd replace all wearable items.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with agriguard or por15 or suggestions on what to coat it with?

I painted mine with POR15 when new and have had Krown applied annually. It has worked for me and held up to the Canadian winter and its salt. Annual rust proofing is key what ever you decide to paint the frame with. 20210620_171146.jpg

She’s a beaut. I would recommend por15 and follow up with a breathable corrosion protectant like fluid film
