Rust-Oleum rust reformer

    Taking the bed off was surprisingly easy. Just take the bumper off and undo the six fasteners holding the bed on. Undo the tail light wires and the gas cap. The hardest part was lifting it up over the gas tank tube, but we managed to do it with just two people.

    Update. So far I've tried washing with soap and water and a brush, rinsing with water, and then wiping down with mineral spirits. A lot of the white is gone, mostly the flakier stuff. There's definitely still a white haze in a lot of places but it does look way better. I think I'm going to call Rust-Oleum in the morning and see if they have any suggestions.
