Rust on hood

So my 2019 off road has rust coming thru on my hood right over my drivers side headlight. I know it is a common problem. Was told the seal inside was broken and moisture is rusting it from the inside out.
Was told best thing to do is get another hood. But i was thinking, if I have to get another hood, Might as well get a “Sport” hood with the hood scoop. The question is, would a “sport hood” fit on my off road?

Yes, a Sport hood will bolt right up to your OR. The challenge is finding one in the right color that the owner is willing to sell you. There is a long running thread for folks looking to sell / trade Sport hoods. You should post what you are looking for there.

If you are looking at another hood, want a scoop and concerned about future rust, maybe look at a carbon fiber hood.

I wanted to go carbon fiber but the eventual yellowing and need for hood pins turned me away.
