A red scotch brite pad works wonders.
I had the same wheels on my tundra that had alot of pitting and brake dust on them, look good as new now...

one thing to keep in mind is there is a thin clear coating on aluminum rims to keep that fresh new metal shine to them and once you wear through it you have to clean and polish them more often or they get dull.

often if you have pitting then corrosion has gotten under this coating and it needs to be sanded through to bring back the shine so once this is done and they look new again you should reapply the clear coat to reseal them and preserve the shine you worked so hard to restore.

so once they need work you have 3 decisions of what to do, paint them silver and you are done, polish the shine back and spray a new clear coat over them, or polish the shine back and call it a day and they get dull again every few weeks

this is pitting and that means it has worn through the clear and paint on the wheels. you'll need to do some sanding and prep to repaint and re-clear if you want them looking like new.

can also use the excuse to change the color like so
