I like the idea of the paint pen. We have all the colours for our quality checks for our customers to visually see on the shipping caps they haven't moved. Would be a fun game to play with them. Thanks for the idea.

All the oil drain and fill port gaskets / crush washer are supposed to be replaced each time.

In Canada at the 16 and 32K service checks they are supposed to check all the levels and it mentions transfer case, differentials and transmission, as well as grease the U-joint and torque prop shaft etc.

Lol it's "amazing " what the dealers don't do.

Yep, I had Krown rust proof all my vehicles and trailers for years and never had a problem. I also use to buy Krown T40 by the case and spray inside and outside of connectors whenever I did maintenance. I think your dealer is full of shit.
Like someone else said, get a denial letter from your dealer and let them fight it out. Once it’s settled, i’d find a new dealer...

Sorry it's been a while since I posted on this thread. Finally have an outcome on the BSM. About two weeks ago Toyota Canada put out a Service Bulletin on the 2017's for a complete failure of the two modules in the bumper assembly. I don't have the bulletin number itself and any details. I had taken it in for my 24K service 1 and revisit the BSM problem after trying to get the OK to video them taking the unit off the truck. The dealership didn't directly say yes but they said bring it in. I procrastinated for about four weeks. Not sure where I would have been if I have of taken it in four weeks prior. Most likely fighting to get the thing fix under warranty and would have been really ticked if the bulletin came out later. Doubt the dealership would have said anything as well.
