Anyone know if they offer/how is their rust proofing offered from factory?
I'll be getting delivery sometime around january february of my 2017 and just wondering if I should get them to rust proof it first or go about doing it myself after I take delivery

I would not use the dealer rust proofing. Mine is flaking off something fierce. Go aftermarket. We have Henderson Brothers around here that do a great job. The also do follow maintenance application of the coating

    Good to know.
I wonder if I could get the dealer to send it over to Krown rustproofing before I take delivery. I've done krown every year I've owned my 06 jetta (7 years now) and not a spot of rust so far. I'm just worried with it being japanese they rust bad and I'll be taking delivery in the winter when the roads are covered in salt.
