I'm sold on fluid film and given that my first truck, 84 xtracab, literally rusted in half, it will be treated the minute my new 2020 DCOR comes home. Question though, it looks like the spray gun with wand applicator is the only thing that will get deep inside the boxed frame, is a 6gal pancake compressor enough to do the job? I'm guessing with intermittent stop/start to keep the tank pressure up?

For an initial application, I would recommend you get a gun with a standard tip, a flexible wand with a 360 degree tip and a flexible wand with a straight tip. You can also get a flexible wand with a 360 tip that goes on the spray cans which is good for getting into small holes where the big wands don't fit.

I have the gun and a pancake compressor and it works okay. Not great but it gets the job done just fine
