When I put my sliders on, I noticed small bits of rust around the frame rails, more in the crevices, etc. Then I had to drill holes in the frame, to bolt the AP sliders, should i coat them with anything? what kind of rust damage can happen over say the next 10 years? anything to worry about? Im a little OCD and dont like knowing its under there.. Been thinking of taking my angle grinder with a steel brush wheel, going to town under there, THEN rubber spraying EVERYTHING, including wheel wells, (to quiet it down) ... ive done this on a couple other cars with great success... what do you think???

    Thanks
    Adamo

Any time I drill a hole in vulnerable metal, I paint it or otherwise try to provide some sort of seal against corrosion.

Yeah it would be a good idea to paint it. Bare metal is asking for rust to start forming. However, I would personally not use rubber spray on the undercarriage since some claim that it traps moisture and makes the frame rust under rubber coating. Without rubber coating, you would actually be able to see the rust forming and take care of the problem before it gets out of hand.
