My 2001 double cab failed inspection for rusty body mounts and rockers. The truck has 254K miles on it and i paid $1500 for it 5 years ago (bought from a friend, hence the cheap price). I hate the idea of scrapping this vehicle as its been very dependable. I usually spend about $1500 a year on maintenance/repairs. Much less than a car payment.

The frame was replaced under recall at I believe 150k-ish miles and is still solid.

Does anyone know it it is even feasible to repair this issue? I know rockers can be cut off a donor vehicle, I'm more concerned about the body mounts.

Wow! that looks fairly extensive. I'll bet there are some on here who have done that. I would say it's feasible, but it may cost more than you want. Put another way, anything can be done for enough time and money.

Yes, the truck has spent its whole life in New York and Pennsylvania. Second half of its life it saw thousands of hours on the beach from Massachusetts to South Carolina searching for stripers and other species. So, it basically saw salt 12 months out of the year. Just hate to part with it, especially since used vehicle prices are ridiculous right now.

Yes they can be replaced not hard to make or buy ones for a Newer Vehicle and make Work.

Since you are posting instead of just fixing at this time the Job is beyond your skill level.

Any Friends that can fabricate and do the Job??

Having this fixed at a Shop at retail labor could get expensive.

I sure hope your keeping after that replaced frame.
