    what kind of AAL is that

    whole pack is probably better.
    You can clean it, spray protectant like fluid film

    there's chemical rust remover acid sprays, rust converter black paint, or straight up paint
    depending on what you wanna do

    Springs flex. Paint doesn’t.

    Get some black Cosmoline or Wool Wax. Treat to prevent rust, stop wasting your time, dealing with the aftermath

    My Icons did the same thing. I hit it with a healthy dose of Fluid Film and they look good again, and it got rid of the squeaking
