Rustoleum NeverWet recommended to protect new frames from rust?

    I have used it before on like shoes and hats and it works great a little pricey but really works never tried on the frame though

    Using just spray cans I used 4 or 5 cans on my initial treatment.. Like DoorDing posted, using the gallon with a spray gun is a much better bang for your buck then using spray cans... I am prob going that route this fall.

    Some Stuff
    I have a few cans of FF in the garage. I'm planning to do this, obviously... My question is this:

    You guys that live in salty winter areas. You apply FF in the fall. Then, drive on salty roads all winter. The salt must stick to the FF?

    What do you do in the spring? Just reapply over the salty FF?

    Or do you pressure wash it off as best you can and start over?

    Do I need to clean the frame with an brush to get all the dirt off or can I just hose it, dry it, then apply fluid film?
