    I don’t wash the under body during winter except with a garden hose on shower setting to knock off big crud clumps, I leave it alone until spring. Then I’ll clean if it needs it, later touch up the fluid film.

    I did the Mavcoat. Not cheap but it dries hard. No mess when you need to crawl under your truck.
    Will see how it does.

    I just ordered the 1 gallon kit of fluid film and it specifically recommends against any high pressure washes. This will be my first year using it and I think I will just make sure I don't get too much build up under the truck but will wait until the worst of winter is over before doing a more thorough wash under the truck.
