Anyone had either of these done on their Tacos?

Living here, where roads are chemically treated, I'd like to decide before the first winter if I want to get the whole 9 yards done. I plan on driving this Taco until it turns to dust, so rust is an enemy.

Did you do it? Go through the dealer, or a third party place?

I did mine and it has held up very very well and it was very cheap i just bought 4 cans of the undercoating from orally. Just tape up anything you don't want black cause that stuff does not come off.

P.S. I can upload a pic if you would like?

go to a third party place....im in nova scotia canada...its headquarters for salt on roads....had my 07 done when new..they do inside doors, under hood, take taillights out....inside rocker panels and tailgate.....no problems...the company is called Tru-Shine...its a Canadian franchise..I know the owner...they do guarantee the product....you have to have it re-applied every 18 months...:)

Search the site or google "lanolin" for another option. I have NO personal experience with it so I can't add anything more useful than what you'll find in the search.

I did just by a gallon, but haven't applied it yet, I want to apply it just before salt season.

I would really rather someone did it who knows what they are doing. I'm not going to feel good about it if I just crawl under there with some spray cans, personally...
