No mine isn't. But I said you run the risk. Others might not notice or just let it go

The lack of instructions is the problem. I was fine with BAMF until Jerry's last email.

That's why I said "when ordering."
And I loved his last email. He's right.

The email response is what would have me triggered.

"No one wants to take accountability anymore" - IS NOT something a professional would say. Lets generalize the entire population based off of 1 e-commerce issue.

I can't speak for you regarding the install instructions not being seen. You'd think they would have the link posted in multiple locations i.e. confirmation email, purchase order, etc....

Also, you shouldn't need to search third parties (TacomaWorld) for install instructions. That's a sloppy excuse for marketing and quality assurance.

    My $0.02 (devil's advocate)

The question is, were the rubber grommets supplied by BAMF, and if so, were they just ignored during installation?

If that were me and I paid that much for one of those grilles I would have bought stainless flat washers to put underneath the screw heads!

A friendly word of advise...avoid posting PM conversations in the forum unless the other party is okay with it.

Good news is you got the solution to take care of it. Did you get the grommets with your original parts? Sounds like he has some powder and the fix should be straight forward.

I get you have a priciple you are sticking with. Not bashing you, take the instructions he's provided, clean it up and close this chapter.

I guess that should be addressed. There are/were no grommets. I just ordered the set that someone posted the Amazon link to, on this thread.

    Its okay.

    Fix it and move on..

most vendors post ordering instructions on websites so customers can research what they're getting into.

If you are that butthurt over it, take your businesses somewhere else... I'm sure BAMF would love it if you took your attitude and money somewhere else.

    I mean… it’s a Ford, you don’t care
I can understand the frustration, but I think you've stepped beyond the line of reasonable. The vendor provided a solution to the problem. Issue remedied.
