Haven't taken out of the garage other than to take the pictures. Fighting a cold and it was 37 degrees today so it wasn't the smartest thing for me to do but fuckit... It's been sitting in my living room floor for two days and I couldn't wait any longer. I imagine it will be noisy but my mud tires are loud also. If I wanted a quite vehicle I'd bought a Lexus. I wanted a vehicle that will take me everywhere I want to go and with as many aftermarket options we have for our trucks this was the perfect vehicle.

The rack is amazing though and if you are looking for a rack with unlimited options this is the one.

I agree. That one is a very nice rack. I seriously gave it some consideration but I wanted a low profile rack with many options.

Chris...some of my buds just installed the Prinsu rack w/the fairing and they are complaining about wind howling at freeway speeds. I get none of that with my Front Runner.

I was surprised that there isn't ANY wind noise with this rack. I drove down the freeway this morning coming to work and it is quiet with the exception of my tires.

Nice. I really don't need more noise that I have to mask with the stereo.

When I initially put mine on, I did so without the wind deflector. OMG...it was so loud and it actually reverberated so bad it made the cab shake and the rear view mirror was useless. I then put on the wind deflector and BAM...it was like it wasn't even there. I didn't even use the rubber adhesive tabs in the kit either. I was corresponding with Front Runner at the time and they mentioned that the rubber tabs aren't really needed. I'm sure Front Runner did some kind of wind tunnel test when they developed the rack. I had the same issues with noise and vibration with my 50" light bar. I ended up putting a cover around the light and securing it with Velcro straps. No noise anymore...:D

I put the pads on just because they were there :)

But yeah you're right. There is no noise from the rack (surprisingly)

*EDIT* Quite honestly I was more concerned about the back of the rack blocking the XM antenna but it works just fine.

Sharpe looking truck. Looks great even with stock suspension. I have a '14 OR that I might put 5100's on it.

I was thinking at setting them at the 0.85 setting as I tow a pop up trailer and don't want to be nose high.

Do the LED headlights you installed have high and Lo beams? I know somewhere I've read that either LED or the HID don't always have both

They did until one went out. I've since went back to 5900k Halogen. LED technology just isn't there yet for reliability. Mine lasted around 10 months.

No problem. I loved them when they worked and miss them. But they just aren't reliable.

Yup... Same sticker:) Almost 22 years on and I'll retire at 50.

Are you mounting RTT to the roof rack of bed rack? Are you upgrading bed rack?
