If I lift my Tacoma 1.5 inches in the rear with fox 2.5 would the ICON RXT leaf spring be able to fit or would they be too big I’m asking because the the page says that the truck with no weight is 1.8 lift so is it 0-1.8 inches or it has to be 1.8 inches I don’t plan on ever carrying anything on the bed maybe a spare 33 tire but other than that nothing. Or do any of u have recommendations for a good 1.5 inch leaf spring that isn’t a add a leaf

Lift rec range for rear replacement shocks installed in the stock shock mounts (9-10" travel shocks) is not a rec for exact fit or match to leaf pack estimated lift.

Compare different shock manufacturer lift range recs to their different shocks' compressed and extended length specs and you'll find lift rec ranges all over and overlapping.

I’m not sure if you are referring to front or rear fox shocks, but I can tell you that rear shocks do not provide life.

I don’t under what you mean by “fit or would they be too big”, but I can tell you that the OEM replacement rxt leafs will fit regardless of your shock choice.

Just if I can use the RXT with the Fox 2.5 that lift a max of 1.5 But I’ve been told that it would work but with limited down travel

Your question is still unclear to me, but as long as both parts are OEM replacement parts (ie says “fits your truck”) you are fine. Stay away from “universal fit” “doesn’t fit your truck”.

Sorry I’m just not really good at wording this because I’m still new to this whole lifting part

I’m just asking if I go with these shocks(Fox 2.5 allows up to 1.5 lift rear) would it cause any problems with the ICON RXT leaf or would it be fine but from what I understand it should be fine

The RXT will give you about 2" of lift in the rear. If the shocks are okay for 1.5" lift they will be fine for 2" of lift

Like I said, anything that says “fits your truck/car/vehicle”, (will fit without modifications and/or made to OEM specs) will fit your truck.

What you could do is buy a complete lift kit or talk to a shop like @AccuTune Offroad or @HeadStrong Off-Road and make this simple and low stress.

Manufacturer lift range rec for rear shocks is not an allowance or limit to your leaf spring lift height. It is a rough guide to distinguish different models with different specs.

To illustrate, I have 1.5" lift leaf springs which raise my rear up about 1.25". I specifically installed the Fox 2.0 Perf Series rear shocks model with a lift range recommendation of 3 to 5". Despite being longer, they bolt in the same stock shock mounts the same as the old OEM rear shocks that came with the truck. However, in order to not destroy the longer Fox shocks when they come under full compression, I additionally lengthened my bumpstops 1 inch to account for my Fox shock's 1.2" longer compressed length.

Fox shocks come with an in-line shaft rubber ring however I personally don't like the idea of my shocks trying to self arrest in the mounts.
