Well i just finished the deck plate mod. The only thing that didn't go as plan was that i got sent a white deck plate instead of black but thats not too big of a deal. I just sprayed a sloppy coat of black on there. I missed a little but what the hell. Here is a pic with my shitty phone after

 

Heres mine i LOVE it i had such a big difference i had better throttle response and a deeper sound by far the best ten dollars ive ever spent

 

hell ya! and i fixed the white parts witha a good ol' sharpie

 

i couldnt help but stomp it all day to hear it hahah so it probably wont help my mpg til i stop doin that ha

 

lol i know what you mean! Its gonna be even worse once i get my wicked flow muffler

ya i got mine off of Amazon but they sent the wrong damn color

Hey 2000yota do u have any kind of aftermarket exhaust on your truck?

 

i got mine from a local boat store and naw i have stock exhaust i dont know of any pipes that sound good with the 2.7 ive heard a few but idk what they had

 

whatever you do don't straight pipe it

 

i think im gonna keep mine quiet for huntin, yotas are by far the best huntin trucks

 

I agree. I use my dads samurai for hunting though. those things go everywhere

Yea those samurais look fun, yea I would like to put a different muffler on my 2.7L but idk what would sound the best, I think I will end up going with a 40 series flowmaster cause unlike the way the flowmasters sound on the v6 trucks, but I'm planning on ordering my truetrac tomorrow and the Guy I'm getting it from says they come in next day so I will update this thread with some pics of the install when I get around to it
